Wow its been a fun few days

I have recently gone fill time as a baker for Panera Bread. Wow it has been a delightful first week. It is an extremely busy eight hours. Much more than I thought it would be. No down time at all. But I like that, it makes it all go by faster.

I have learned how to burn myself on more things that I ever thought I could burn myself on. I've not yet ruined any product, but came mighty close tonight, thank GOD Larry saw the Coffee Cakes and removed them from the rack oven or I would have cost me some time.

Anyway, I never thought this would be a rewarding as it has been so far. I really should have listened to that little voice in my head telling me to look into this baking thing many years ago. I actually dig it a lot. To watch the people enter the store, order their favorite bagel and a coffee and enjoy it right in front of you is awesome. It is amazing what joy bread and coffee give some people but I find more people that come to Panera are almost fanatical about the products.

I guess that's why I work for them now!
